Nicole gave Melanie the idea to do some bridal photos in different family dresses. Melanie liked the idea, and so did Mark, so we recently had a big long photo session. It was a lot of fun and we got some cute pictures out of it. Nicole actually took the time to make veils that closely matched veils or head pieces from the original dresses which added a fun touch to the whole experience.
Mary Lou Staten's Dress
We started out with Mary Lou, Danny's mom. This dress is from Mary Lou and Tom's wedding in 1970.
Marianne Springer's Dress
Next we moved on to Melanie's Mother. She married Calvin Springer in 1977.
Marie Nichols
Melanie's grandmother Marie married Murray Nichols in 1952. This dress was reused and restyled by Marie's sisters so it has been modified in lots of fun ways. We will post a picture that shows the styles the dress went through to get to its current state soon.
Lucile Springer's Dress
Melanie's other grandmother Lucile married George Springer in 1936.
